A few words about our late President.

He was founding member and first president of the NGO “Alexandria Lighthouse” (now “Faros Elpidas “), founded by the late Patriarch Petros, aimed at providing humanitarian and development assistance to African nations.

The sensitivities, his friendliness and his smile, endeared him to all.

On September 11 he left at the age of 53 years with that smile to his fall Chinook.

By decisions of the next Board of Directors and honoring the memory of the first President not replenished its location. Until then, in accordance with the Statute of the administration and financial functioning of the Agency was John Patas outset had taken this position, at the request of the late Patriarch Peter.
